In November 2022 I was unemployed so I was fortune enough to be included in a SAFETI training programme in Danville, as part of the Mafikeng Municipality’s Expanded Public Works Programme.
Shortly thereafter I was offered an opportunity by SAFETI to undergo a 12 month road skills mentorship where I was able to develop my skills in labour intensive road construction as well and become an assistant training instructor.
I now have a full time position with the company as a training instructor and assist with the company’s fleet management.
SAFETI have not only provided me with secure employment but an opportunity to help others follow their dreams.
